Well hello to all of you, my friends! I really do wish that I would have been able to post more often, and I also wish that this post could be longer. But it is very important to me that I posted again to offer all of you my great thanks and gratitude for supporting me in what I am doing here in Greensboro, either through your monetary donations, or through your prayers. I am so incredibly grateful for you all, and the effect you have made that will eternally resound in my heart.
The Lord is doing some incredible things here in Greensboro, and with some of those things, it's awfully hard to tell what they are just yet. Though maintaining a committed relationship through these things that are going on is quite difficult, I truly believe that God is using this experience to shape Kayla and I for the future and prepare us for what is to come, so when we become married, we will be able to come together as one unit to advance the cause of Christ, whether it be through a support system, or through direct ministry. God is transforming both of our hearts immensely I believe, and that excites me greatly! He is also leading me to consider my options for ministry once I am done with this internship and am a married man!
Last weekend was a pivotal moment in my faith journey through Missions Training and will continue to be a reference point as my life continues. The Lord has revealed some things to me that He has placed in me that I had not recognized or even accepted as a possibility. There were some things that I was challenged with during that weekend that would never have been possible without the influence and the hand of Jesus. I remain blown away by His power and ability.
I appreciate so greatly the affect that you have each had so far on my journey here in Greensboro. Thanks to you all, my tuition was COMPLETELY covered and has supported my expenses. What a wonderful gift that is. I came into this program uncertain whether or not the Lord was going to provide for me to sustain myself monetarily through this 9 month period. He has proven faithful in every way this far, and I have no reason to doubt His abilities to continue that. Even so, a certain source has offered to pay all but one of my monthly expenses through next August! Though blessing after blessing has some through and burdens have been lifted, the financial end of the rope is closing in, and I am still accepting donations to keep some gas in my tank in order to get back and forth from places. If it's on your heart to make a supplemental donation, you can send them to my current home address:

I would like to take the rest of this post to lift up some incredible people here in Greensboro that have made an incredible sacrifice to assure that I make it through this program by having a place to live, food to eat, and to support me through my struggles, and that is my host family, the Sahol's. Jeff, Michelle, Bryan, and Emma have been nothing but loving, accepting, and eager to provide what it is that I need during this season of my life. They have essentially adopted me as a son into their family. Whether it's providing a hot meal every Monday night, finishing my load of laundry that I just can't find time to do, engaging in friendly conversation, allowing me free reign over the fridge (WOW!), or just respecting the fact that I don't have a whole lot of free time on my hands, they have made an incredible difference in my experience in Greensboro, and without their love, support, and care, I would not be able to make it through this time. So thank you Sahol family for selflessly offering up a place for me to stay. Your hearts shine through and you have ministered to me greatly through all you have done. I'm looking forward to the months to come as a part of your family. My greatest gratitude I give you all.
P.S. I'm so excited right now because my best man, Darren Quelette, is currently on his way to Greensboro for a 3 day long visit! AWESOME!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
-That God will continue to guide Kayla and I through this time, and that He will grant us great strength to fulfill His purposes.
-That He will continue to reveal to me what it is that He is transforming inside of me, and that I will have the discernment to respond with obedience and wisdom.
-That He will have his hand in my consideration of ministry options, and will reveal His will to me through the next couple months.
